We’re innovators and problem solvers, Red Seal certified workers, and skilled apprentices. We’re born and raised builders.
We are with you from the initial planning stages of your project until the finishing touches. Having our own crew of skilled and dedicated workers allows us to oversee and execute the majority of work involved in our projects. We are able to complete entire projects faster and more efficiently doing more of the work ourselves, ensuring consistent productivity and thus eliminating long wait times for the next subcontractor as the site sits empty. No one likes an inactive job site.
Throughout every project, we may work with architects, engineers, designers, subtrades, and the homeowner to provide an exceptional final product that is functional, long-lasting, on budget, and aligns with the original vision for the project.
We are fortunate to have a trusted network of subcontractors who bring their expertise to the few trades that are outside of our scope. We take care of arranging all subcontracted trades and work with them on site to make sure each project comes together piece by piece just the way it should.
We review drawings and handle permits, and are licensed, insured and WCB covered.

Founded Nykl Contracting in 2018
David Nykl
From a young age, David has been a hands-on person. He comes from a family of builders and possesses an innate understanding of construction practices and materials. He is in his element when engaged in a project’s planning and organizing phases, and is passionate about collaborating and innovating alongside other trades and consultants.
David has a background in business management as well as drafting and design experience, which accompanies and enhances his knowledge and capabilities as a general contractor. His high standards for quality work, professionalism, and on-time project completion have resulted in extremely satisfied clients and trusted business relationships.
