I was the architect/designer on a fairly extensive renovation which turned a 2 bed, 1 bath house into a 4 bed, 2 bath house (using existing attic space)...on a tight budget. Ordinarily, I like to work with contractors I am familiar with, however, the client brought them into the mix...and I am so grateful for the introduction! They were wonderful to work with, very responsive and very responsible to the budget. They appreciated the intention of the design philosophy and had some excellent suggestions to make things either better and/or less expensive and (a big plus for me) they checked with me first on this, and whenever there seemed to be question. I so enjoyed working with them and hope we get the chance to do it again soon.

I needed a little bit of work done (a little bit of demo, some tiling, drywall, and painting) along with plumbing and electrical. I was really pleased with how professional they were, and especially happy with how respectful they were of our home - after each step (demo, sanding, mudding, priming, grouting, everything) they made sure the space was tidied up, they didn't leave their equipment just lying around, and they made sure we were happy with the work all the way through. Their work was well done, and everything looks great. [Nykl Contracting] connected us with a plumber who was also great to deal with. Our kitchen and dining room look fantastic, the work was done on schedule, and his quotes were on point when the final invoice arrived. I will definitely be recommending Nykl Contracting, and would be happy to use their services again.

David and his crew were in our home for about 2 months, doing a fairly extensive renovation. As someone who works from home, I got to spend a lot of time with them.
